How to use GlowScreen as a photo light
- Pick a color. White gives neutral fill; warm white (#FFE7C2) flatters skin tones in portraits and video calls.
- Go fullscreen. Press F or hit the Full screen button so the color fills your display edge to edge.
- Set the brightness. Your device brightness is the dimmer switch — raise it for a stronger key light, lower it for a soft glow.
- Position and shoot. Face the screen toward your subject, about an arm's length away for selfies and video calls.
Once the page has loaded, the color tool keeps working even if your connection drops — handy on a shoot without Wi-Fi.
Dead pixel test & white screen
How do I do a dead pixel test?
Go fullscreen, then cycle through solid colors with the ← → keys — or tap the left and right edges of the screen. Dead or stuck pixels show up as tiny dots that stay put while the background changes. Can I use GlowScreen as a white screen?
Yes. Pick white, press F or hit the Full screen button, and your entire display becomes a clean white screen, useful as a soft light for video calls, a neutral backdrop, or a blank canvas.

What is the PNG download for?
It exports the current color as a solid PNG image, from Full HD up to 8K (7680 × 4320). Use it as a wallpaper, a test pattern, or a clean background plate for design work.
Can I match an exact brand color?
Yes. Type any 6-digit hex code into the custom color field — or use the color picker — and the screen shows that exact color. The current hex value is always shown next to “Choose your light” so you can verify it.
